Beach Wedding
You might assume that Beach Weddings are for Summer, well not here in Noosa! With gorgeous weather most of the year, Winter is actually a stunning time to get married on the Beach. Our recently styled beach wedding was showcased at the idyllic Access 12, one of the very few absolute beachfront wedding locations off Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street. The set is perfect for couples who want to feel their toes in sand and with a host of talented local suppliers, an immersive ocean-front styled ceremony was brought to life.
THE STYLE & FLORAL
We utilised ghost chairs and simple, elegant and modern white styling for this shoot to compliment Noosa’s natural beauty. The scene was perfect, with glassy blue water and Noosa Heads in the background subtly pointed out with the perfect positioned arbour. Nicole & Lily (Mother& Daughter team) from Maple Flowers and Décor showed their immense talent in the form of an exquisite crescent moon arbour made up of classic white roses and orchids, in addition to the beautiful bouquet & table floral centrepieces.
THE BRIDE & GROOM
No shoot is complete without a stunning bride – and the team from Erin Clare Bridal delivered! Erin Clare Bridal is synonymous with exquisite bridal couture and romantic yet edgy fashion design and exquisite fabrics. Thea, the bride and Splash’s very own wedding stylist, wore a stunning off-the-shoulder flowing dress that beautifully complimented the winter beach setting. Thea’s hair and make-up married the set perfectly and it was made possible by the award-winning, master hairdresser and make-up artist Vicky, from Silk Hair and Makeup. We dressed Elliot in an on-trend light suit and brown shoes from Myer.
BEACH DINING
Following the Beach Ceremony, we set up an exquisite dining table, a perfect setting for small intimate weddings or to enjoy a nibble after a private elopement. Using timeless style, Nicole Hopkins (Creative director and owner at Splash) chose crisp white linens intermixed with crystal and gilt accents, showcasing the stunning floral table centrepieces.
GARDEN PARTY
For the garden Party we created a simple elegant set with various chill zones for the bride and groom to relax, featuring an incredible bar set up. The bar showcased local Sunshine and Sons Gin; and cocktails were masterfully prepared by mixologist Erico from Bartenders Noosa. The Bartenders Noosa are a team of highly passionate hospitality staff focused on premium service for events – and they have a list of signature and classic cocktails which we had to taste of course, and they were amazing!
