Splash Events is the home of beautiful wedding and event design on the Sunshine Coast.

We are a passionate team of event stylists, mood-makers and good-time enthusiasts who live and breathe what we do.

Our mission is simple: to help you create an unforgettable guest experience through creative design, thoughtful styling and a seamless, stress-free service. Whether you’re planning a luxury wedding, corporate event or private party, we thrive on bringing your unique vision to life.



Our business has always been driven by a love for creating beautiful spaces

Following an elite career in visual merchandising, a serious passion for the wedding industry and a Bachelor of Interior Design, our creative founder Nicole launched Splash Events in 2006 after making the move from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast. Developed entirely from scratch, the business began from her dining room table with nothing but a few pieces of decor, sheer determination and raw talent.

From humble beginnings, we quickly grew momentum thanks to our high standards and fresh concepts - allowing us to build a rock-solid reputation as the leaders in what we do. Since our inception, we’ve styled, planned and decorated our way through thousands of special occasions across Noosa, the Sunshine Coast and South East QLD.

While our small business has grown in leaps and bounds, our passion for creating incredible experiences remains the same. Based in Noosa, we primarily service the Sunshine Coast but also travel to Brisbane and the Gold Coast on request.

Splash Events is made up of a talented bunch of event designers, wedding stylists, warehouse crew and skilled humans who work together to deliver your dream event.

Nicole Hopkins

Founder and Owner, MD and Event Designer

From decorating family parties as a child to building an elite 25-year career in visual merchandising, interior design, set design and wedding styling, it’s safe to say Nicole was always destined for a creative calling. As our founder and lead event designer, Nicole specialises in creating and executing fresh, inspiring concepts for our clients. She has a serious knack for understanding and interpreting ideas, and loves dreaming up unique and unexpected design solutions. Instinctively creative and a perfectionist at heart, Nicole’s eye for detail and high standards are matched with a warm, friendly presence.

Richelle Wright

Business Manager

Richelle is our Finance, Marketing and Business Development specialist and drives the growth of Splash Events. As a “big picture” thinker and idea-generator, she manages all things marketing, social media and strategic development to push our business forward. With her creative ideas, organisational skills and extensive industry knowledge, Richelle is continually finding new ways to improve our business process and better serve our clients.

Shannon Richardson

Senior Wedding and Event Stylist

Coming from 13 years of experience in the creative industries, a background in visual merchandising and a business in wedding design and hire, rest assured our stylist Shannon knows her stuff! With an obsession for interiors, homewares and the finer details, Shannon loves creating unique concepts inspired by our surroundings here on the Sunny Coast. She’ll listen closely to your vision and use this to create an experience even better than you’d imagined.

Chris May

Events Operations Manager

As events operations manager Chris plays an integral role to ensure the smooth day to day running of the warehouse, ensuring all inventory for events are prepped and packed accurately and timely. In additional running on-site setups, installations and packdowns Chris is responsible for ensure every event goes ahead without a hitch. Chris is highly experienced, cool under pressure and is the ultimate problem solver for any tricky event situation.

Shannara Goddard

Marketing Manager

With a career in marketing, hospitality, functions and events spanning over 3 decades, Shannara's passion is marketing to clients what is promised and exceeding their expectations. A local to Noosa, privy to the best kept secrets, supplier networks, insider knowledge and deep community connections, Goddard, only works with the best.

Jarnia Cook

Stylist and Planner

Jarnia is an experienced Wedding Stylist and as our Wedding Planner she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Splash Events team. After spending 3 years in Bali as a Wedding stylist and planner, Jarnia is our destination wedding planning expert. Combining creative flair with a meticulous eye for detail and supreme calmness, she will ensure your day is absolutely flawless.

Sam McKeown

Warehouse Assistant

Sam is our hard-working Warehouse Assistant, ironing and laundry champion, unsung hero and vital member of the Splash family. With her unfalteringly positive attitude and friendly demeanour, she’s always there when we need her and will do anything required to get the job done!

Emily Mills

Corporate Event Planner

As our Corporate Event Planning partner, Emily is considered the leading destination event management specialist on the Sunshine Coast. Known for creating memorable guest experiences that showcase our beautiful region, she thrives on working with large companies and producing unique, custom-designed events that deliver the wow factor. With an outstanding knowledge of the Sunshine Coast and access to the best suppliers in the business, Emily works closely with our corporate clients to take their events to the next level.

Team of Casuals

We simply couldn’t do what we do without our dedicated team of casuals - especially during peak season! Our casual staff and set-up crew are the friendly faces you’ll find packing and unpacking our trucks, delivering furniture, and setting up beautiful weddings and events right across the Sunshine Coast. An essential part of our business, these guys share our commitment to providing excellent customer service and a flawless event experience.
